FYI; While most will come here to wager and win some money, we and this site are really all about seeking, finding and embracing Truth, aka “Truthing”. For those who don’t know it, this is because, aside from dumb luck or the works of others, Truthing is the only way for one to win or succeed at anything in life. Indeed, if you don’t have adequate Truth about whatever you might attempt to achieve, you are guaranteed to lose or fail. The equation is simple and foolproof, the amount of sound knowledge (aka Truth) one has about whatever they’re doing is exactly equal to their likelihood of success at it. So, without outside influence, aka going “willy-nilly”, more Truth = more success, less Truth = less success, and no Truth = guaranteed failure. And like everything else we strive to present, those are statements of 100% fact, aka . . .
So, if you’re confident about what you know and are willing to put it to the test, this is definitely the best place to do it. And that is because, in reality, you can’t lose here. That’s the funny thing about Truthbetting; since the topics are often of the utmost importance for a person to get right in life, the losers are actually always positioned to be the biggest winners. Indeed, the more and bigger the Truths you learn and leave with from playing, the bigger the win! Hence, even a 50/50 win to lose draw ratio is still a HUGE win!
THE RULES
1. AI can be used for research but not as players. We’re real and choose only to play with living, breathing people like ourselves.
2. We will go one subject/claim per Truth Bet with any one person or any group of any size for the minimum of $100 a pop. What we call BIG Truths (see below) are up for play at $1,000 to $10,000.
3. The winner in each debate will be the one that proves their case with “substantiating factual evidence” provided by either authentic scripture (from the Bible and Quran only), simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division), and/or self evident, scientific facts that are personally, easily verifiable without anything uncommon to a typical household.
4. Any use of hearsay or parroting without being backed with said substantiating factual evidence upon rebuttal will disqualify the offending side and result in a default win by the other. Hence, the careless spreading of disinformation by anyone here, us included, will be rewarded with exactly what they’re due.
5. No closure or change of topic unless agreed upon by both parties. (i.e. from stalemates, lack of evidence, inconclusivity, excessive time requirements, etc.)
6. The better opens with their claimed statement of fact and each submission of a comment, optionally including one picture (.jpg, .gif or .png only) thereafter by either party will be considered a rebuttal, with only one rebuttal per rebuttal.
7. Automatic disposition upon 48 hours of inactivity or failure to intelligibly rebut after any rebuttal, the bringer of the last legitimate rebut wins the Truth Bet.
8. For obvious reason, all rebuttals provided by the house during games are confidential while all statements and rebuttals provided by players are public.
9. Aside from said scriptures, mathematics and scientific facts, God Is Judge over the correctness, intentions and morality of all players.
10. We ourselves hereby solemnly swear to tell the Truth, nothing but the Truth and the whole Truth, so help us God.
